Terms of Service

Effective September 12, 2026

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between Midwest Duct Works ("we", "us") and you ("you"). By using www.midwestductworks.com, requesting an estimate, or purchasing our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.

Our services

Midwest Duct Works provides air duct cleaning, mold remediation, hood vent cleaning, blown-in insulation, power washing, janitorial cleaning, sanitizing & essential oils, and stain removal services for homes and businesses in Mason City, Clear Lake, Forest City, and 11 more North Iowa communities. Our website lets you learn about our services, request a free estimate, and contact us. We may improve or change our services and website over time.

Estimates, scheduling, and payment

• Estimates are free and no-obligation.
• An estimate is not a contract. We assess your system and give you a firm price before any work begins, and the work is governed by the written quote or invoice you accept, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.
• Appointments are subject to availability. We will confirm your visit and contact you if a change is needed.
• Payment terms are set out in your written quote or invoice.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate contact and service address information and keep it current, so we can respond to your request and schedule your service.
• Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or submit false information.
• Only submit a phone number or email address that belongs to you or that you are authorized to provide.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile phone number and affirmatively opt in, for example by checking a consent box on our estimate form, Midwest Duct Works may send you text messages. Depending on the consent you give, these may include estimate and appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, service updates, responses to your inquiries, and, if you separately opt in, marketing or promotional messages about Midwest Duct Works services.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (641) 530-6139 or midwestductwork@gmail.com.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of requesting an estimate or purchasing any goods or services.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
• We do not share mobile information or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Content and ownership

The content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Midwest Duct Works. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our prior written permission. You keep ownership of the information you submit to us, and you grant us the rights needed to use it to respond to you and provide our services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Services from third parties

The website relies on providers such as hosting, scheduling, form, messaging, and chat platforms. Their availability is outside our full control, and their terms may apply to your use of features they power. Our website chat may use automated responses, which may occasionally be inaccurate. Please confirm details such as pricing and scheduling with our team.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties for the website and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, including lost profits or lost business opportunities. This section does not limit any warranty in your written quote, invoice, or service agreement, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You will defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the website, information you submit that you did not have the right to provide, or your breach of these terms.

Suspension of access

We may suspend or restrict access to the website for unlawful use or a breach of these terms. Sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability, and indemnification survive any suspension.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, and both sides consent to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the effective date above. Continued use of the website or services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
